……… all the team loved being involved in Kirsten’s wedding, Kirsten and her mum were so, so great to work alongside and we all became such good friends and discussed everything in detail to ensure the flowers were perfect for Kirsten and Michael’s day. The flowers were so important to Kirsten so for us it was imperative we translated her thoughts into reality.

Kirsten’s wedding flowers were all classic shades of off whites, greens and a very fine touch of ivory – beautiful and timeless. Bridal flowers – Kirsten loves Gerberas so we decided to keep it classic by keeping her bridal flowers all Gerberas with some fine greenery through.

On such a lovely sunny day we used mirrored plinths to sit the tall arrangements on. Tall martini style vases topped with seasonal flowers including gerberas. For the top table we used baby versions of the table centre decorations – – in our opinion the room setups for both the ceremony and reception looked stunning – we hope you agree.

Bride & Groom:

Wedding of Ros & Brian on 19th April 2013

Venue:

The Royal College of Physicians

…….What can we say about Roz, what a great bride to work with!  We met Roz through a very good client of ours, we all had a great meeting and the brief was simple……… spring, colourful and bright after that we could do what we wanted to work with Roz’s brief and to work in with the venue.   As you can see by the images we went bright, colourful with lots of different types of spring flowers but keeping it very soft in the Royal College of Physicians in the Great Hall with the strong colours, it looked stunning with all the little details of the pots of flowers and candles on the table as well as the perimeter, so later on as it approached the evening the room would take on a more romantic, soft feel

The bridal bouquets were simple, spring classic. We wanted to go neutral and softer here so the colour could come in on the tables. Roz loved the cheerfulness so we decided to make her hand tie all  cheerfulness, the smell was AMAZING, the bridesmaids carried all Ranunculus and to give them a beautiful scent as well we added a collar of herbs around the outside, lots of loveliness.

We wanted to say a huge thank you for the flowers for the wedding – they were absolutely gorgeous and the colours were exactly what I wanted. The tables centres in the Ballroom looked so lovely and we had many comments about them.

Thank you also to Lianne for all the help and advice she gave us whilst planning.

Many thanks,

Sharon & Ciaran

Bride & Groom:

Wedding of Kirsty MacKay & Adam Williamson on 13th April 2013

Venue:

Kirknewton Stables

Bride’s Flowers:

Kirsty held a colourful hand tie in shades of pink, yellow, blue, orange & greenery using sweet peas, roses, germini, gerberas and greenery. Kirsty’s bridesmaids (four) held similar but smaller versions in different colours.

Table Centres:

Tall glass candlestands with a fine garland in the wedding colours.

After Kirsty’s first consultation what stood out was that Kirsty wanted a classic, bright and colourful look to her wedding at Kirknewton Stables. Kirsty really enjoyed choosing the colour options and loved the ideas  we came up with together. As a result we brought together a beautiful, colourful look by using our glass candlestands which captured the natural light in the venue and the warmth of the bold colours in the seasonal flowers (gerberas, germinis, roses, veronica and sweet peas.
