The Edinburgh Corn Exchange know how to put on a show!

It’s now been a few weeks since the last Edinburgh Corn Exchange Wedding fair which took place over the weekend of 6th & 7th March. We’ve delighted to say we’ve had a huge response from the fair and overwhelmed that so many of you liked our designs.

We thought you might like to see a few images taken over this weekend which can be viewed in the following slideshow. Thank you to weddingphotosedinburgh for the images.

Fun, contemporary style wedding with calla lillies entwined with silver wire and clear lights all inside tall flute vases filled with water and with large floating candles.

Ceremony & Reception took place in the beautiful Garden Suite at Norton House Hotel.

The girls also had great fun making the ‘goody bags’ for the kids.

A beautiful setting for a beautiful Spring wedding with white sweet peas, lily of the valley, pure white phelanopsis orchids and crystal blush all set off with little pots and candles.

On the Day: We really enjoyed setting up Jen & Paul’s wedding in The Garden Suite at Prestonfield House Hotel. For the ceremony we used a lovely white aisle carpet with candles running down the length. The room was finished with little pots of flowers and candles.

Venue: Prestonfield House Hotel, Garden Suite.

“Thank you so much for your efforts for our wedding. You were amazing from start to finish and you really did make every aspect of our day so special. You were also a delight to work with, absolutely everyone has commented on the flowers and how magical the Garden Room looked for the ceremony. I have to admit I was bowled over as I walked in, I was utterly speechless, it far exceeded any expectation I had and that’s saying something!”  –  Jennifer & Paul

Mar Hall is undoubtedly one of Scotlands premier luxury hotels with breathtaking  views over the Kilpatrick Hills and River Clyde and a beautiful setting for any wedding.

The table centres consisted of  elegant silver candlestands with arrangements of sweet avalanche, amnesia and sarah bernhardt roses and pink peonies, with Greenery.

Venue: Mar Hall, Glasgow.

  • Ceremony: Burgundy Room
  • Reception: Morton Hall

On the day: Vikki & Ted enjoyed a pleasant sunny day allowing them to take full advantage of their beautiful surroundings.

“I just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you for the beautiful flowers that you provided for our wedding at Mar Hall!  I would have loved to have seen you on the day! The flowers really made the venue look beautiful.  I was quite taken aback by how many little pots and candles there were, they were just everywhere!

My photographer got a beautiful shot of the fireplace in Mar Hall and it was just stunning, as were the centrepieces on the tables in Morton House.

And what can I say about the bouquets! You were able to give me exactly what I wanted! They come up beautifully in the photographs. The colours are just perfect!”    Vikki & Ted.
