Following a £9.3m restoration and refurbishment the Assembly Rooms on George Street, Edinburgh are open again.

We were delighted to be asked by Prestige Scotland to provide table arrangements for this event on 4th October 2012 – if not least just to see the splendour of the refurbishments.

Our brief was for an autumnal theme and hopefully we have created that. View the images.

Come along to East of Scotland’s largest wedding fair & fashion show and visit us at our regular stand 82 at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange Wedding Fair, see samples of our work and chat to our florists about any aspect of your wedding flowers.

Fashion Show: A great way to see the ECE venue and experience the latest ideas and fashions from the industry’s best wedding suppliers.

Prestonfield House – in the Italian Room

Bride’s Flowers:

Joanna held a hand tie of mango cala lilies, orange ranunculus, green berries, malus apples, willow tendrils and a few white thistles.

Table Display:

One long table in the beautiful italian room decorated with three low arrangements of seasonal orange, red and green flowers with willow tips, lush greenery and moss. Little pots of flowers and tealights were added to complete the look.

We were delighted to provide scottish themed flower arrangements for this gala dinner at the National Museums Scotland

Event: Gala Dinner

Venue: National Museum Scotland, Grand Gallery, Chamber Street

Brief: Scottish theme with heathers, thistle and scottish seasonal flowers. Alternating low and tall arrangements

Bride & Groom:

Susan Morrison & Donald McCombie

Balbirnie House Hotel

Bride’s Flowers:

Susan chose a hand tie of vendella roses with cream spray roses, quicksand roses and eucalyptus.

Table Centres:

Tall flute vases topped with an arrangement of seasonal flowers in cream, pale pink and dusky green colours using hydrangea, quicksand rose, eustoma, vendella rose, eucalyptus and hanging amaranthus. The table numbers were carved out pumpkins.

Event:

We decorated occasional tables for this event held in the Jacobite Room at Edinburgh Castle.

The Royal College of Surgeons – The wedding ceremony and dinner reception were held in the Playfair Library.

Bride’s Flowers:

Caroline held a hand tie of white hydrangea whilst her bridesmaids held hand ties of pale pink hydrangea.

Table Centres:

Silver column stand topped with loose natural arrangements with hot pink and off white/ivory flowers using hydrangea, eustoma, norma jean roses and sweet william.

Join Edinburgh Zoo at their Wedding Open Day

*** Thursday 18th October – 5.00pm to 9.00pm ***

Enjoy a nice glass of prosecco while sampling some new canape options as you look around the venue. Meet the wedding team to discuss any aspect of your wedding and packages available. There will also be a number of suppliers on hand –  including Cakes, DJ, Chair Covers and Table Decorations, Florist, Piper, Photobooth and more!

Entry is via the Members Gate at the top left of the car park, and parking is available in the main Zoo car park.
