Please see a note of our Christmas & New Year Opening Times, as follows –

• Saturday   24 December – Closed
• Sunday      25 December – Closed
• Monday     26 December – Closed

Between 27th to 30th December the office will be un-manned and we will be working on-site. We are contactable on 07725 977039 during this period.

Carole Anne & Michael, The Scotsman Hotel

Carole Anne & Michael held their wedding ceremony and reception at the stylish Scotsman Hotel in the heart of Edinburgh city centre.

Carole Anne held a trail of lilac cala lilies, purple vanda orchids and purple eustoma. Carole Anne’s bridesmaid held a hand tie of similar flowers.

The wedding ceremony was held in the linklater suite and the dinner reception in the club rooms. The dinner reception guest table centres were tall flute vases with cala lilies, clear lights and purple wire. The top table had various sized bowls with hand ties of lilac cala lilies or purple vanda orchids.

Claire & Neil, MacDonald Houstoun House Hotel

Claire & Neil held their wedding reception at the MacDonald Houstoun House Hotel. A beautiful hotel steeped in scottish history dating back to the 1600s. The wedding ceremony took place at the  Kirk O’ Calder.

Claire held a hand tie of christmas red cala lilies, red ranunculus, green hypericum and greenery. Claire’s 5 bridesmaids held similar but smaller versions and the flowergirl held a baby version.

The dinner reception tables were dressed with tall, elegant glass candlestands decorated with christmas garlands of red cala lilies and ranunculus to compliment the bridal flowers. The top table was decorated with trailing christmas greenery and low vases and little pots with baby hand ties and flowers to match.

Sarah & Russell, Lennoxlove House

Sarah & Russell chose the beautiful Lennoxlove House for their wedding ceremony and reception.

Sarah held a natural hand tie of ivory avalanche & akito roses, with white muscari, hard ruscus and greenery. Sarah’s bridesmaid held an all white ranunculus hand tie with greenery. The flowergirl held a wand and baby hand tie version of the bridesmaids flowers.

The ceremony was held in the house chapel and the dinner reception in the Great Hall. The table arrangements consisted of a tall martini style vase topped with a lush arrangement of green hydrangea, white eustoma, white roses and rununculus, with greenery and white willow.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for our beautiful flowers on 27 December at Lennoxlove.  I was absolutely delighted with them – they were just perfect!  We had so many positive comments about them.

 Thank you also for all your help throughout the process of choosing flowers, sample meeting etc.  You were a pleasure to deal with and you made us feel like our wedding was really special for you too which was so nice as I know you do so many weddings.  You made us feel like ours was the only wedding you were focusing on which is a real skill and we really appreciated it.

 I have been busy recommending you to all my friends!

Event at RBS Gogarburn

Christmas themed event held in The Atrium at RBS Gogarburn.

Gem & Thomas, Melville Castle Hotel

Gem & Gareth chose the beautiful Melville Castle hotel for their wedding venue.

The wedding ceremony was held in the ballroom and the dinner reception in the dining room.

Ceremony: room was decorated with a fresh xmas tree with holly, mistletoe and candles  placed on the window ledges.

Reception: guest tables were decorated with tall silver candlestands with lush christmas garland and  baby hand ties of white and red roses. The top table had baby candlestands with similar christmas themed flowers.

Winter Wonderland themed event held in The Atrium at RBS Gogarburn.

Kirsten & Steven, Mansefield Traquair

Kirsten & Steven held their wedding ceremony in The Gatehouse Suite in  Edinburgh Castle and chose the beautiful setting at Mansefield Traquair for their wedding venue.

Top Table: compact pots of akito & avalanche roses and tealights running down length of table.

Guest Tables: tall flute vases with crushed ice effect and topped with silver willow with crystal droplets and fairy lights.

Christmas at The Botanics

Christmas decorations at the Gateway Restaurant in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh.
