September 18, 2010
Laura & Andrew held their wedding reception in the magnificent setting of Hopetoun House in South Queensferry. The wedding ceremony was held in St Mary’s Cathedral.
Laura chose a hand tie of lilac & alabaster roses with a touch of greenery. Laura’s bridesmaid held a similar but smaller version of her own.
The dinner reception tables in The Ballroom were decorated with tall silver candlestands which in turn were decorated with baby hand ties of ivory, lilac and purple colours similar to bridal flowers, with a fine garland spiraling down the spine. The fireplace had a lush, full length arrangement of warm ivory, purples and lilacs with hanging amaranthus.
